What Dentalverse is for
The knowledge a dental student needs is not missing, it is scattered. Dentalverse exists to hold it in one place, organised the way a student's day is.
Dental school does not suffer from a shortage of information. It suffers from arrangement.
The knowledge a student needs is real, and it exists. It is just spread across lecture slides, a friend's photocopied notes, advice given in passing on the clinic floor, and textbooks written for a reader with more time than you have. None of it was assembled for the moment you actually need it: the night before a viva, ten minutes before a patient sits down, the first day of a rotation you have never done.
The aim
Dentalverse is one place for that material, organised the way a student's day is organised rather than the way a syllabus was filed.
In practice that means anatomy you can turn around and look at, drugs and anaesthetics you can check in seconds, procedures written as steps instead of prose, the errors people commonly make set out before you make them, and cases that ask you to decide something.
It is meant to be the same library from first year through to graduation, so what you learned in second year is still where you left it when it reappears in clinic.

What it is not
Dentalverse is educational. It is not medical or dental advice, and it is not a second opinion. It does not replace your supervisor, your faculty, your school's protocols, or the guidance in force where you are training. If the app and the person supervising you disagree, follow the person supervising you, then ask why.
