A video lesson for every one of the 52 teeth

Every tooth in the Tooth Atlas now has its own narrated video lesson. That is 52 in all — 32 permanent teeth and 20 primary teeth — and about 4.8 hours of teaching.

The set has been filling up for months. Until today it was two teeth short: the lower right primary molars, 84 and 85. Those are finished, so the atlas now covers the whole dentition.

What one lesson covers

Each lesson works through the same ground as the written profile beside it.

• Crown morphology — the cusps, ridges and grooves that tell the tooth apart.
• Roots and canals — how many, where they run, and what varies.
• Nerve supply, and the block that numbs it.
• Eruption timing, and where the tooth sits in the sequence.

They are narrated teaching lessons built on the atlas material. They are not recordings of patients or of treatment.

Where they appear

A lesson sits on its own tooth page, in a Video lesson section above the overview — the first section on the page rather than something to scroll for.

What is free and what is not

Four teeth are open on any free account: 11, 21, 31 and 41. On those you get the whole page — the lesson, the written profile and the 3D model.

The other 48 teeth are Pro, and they are Pro in full: the page is locked, not only the video. Every primary tooth is in that group. What Pro costs is on the pricing page.

Not the same as the video library

Dentalverse also has a separate video library organised by specialty, which is open to any signed-in student. These 52 lessons are a different set. They live inside the Tooth Atlas and follow the atlas's own free-tooth limits.
